Services Provided
Dr. Libutti provides an initial consultation that will take 2-3 hours in the
office, after careful review of supporting documentation that is filled out
by the parent prior to the meeting. Please go to the "forms" section to
download and complete the questionnaire. Follow up appointments can
be done in the office or on the telephone and generally occur every 4-8
weeks for 1/2 - 1 hour, depending on the families' needs.
The starting point for treating children with autism, ADD/ADHD and other
"epidemic" childhood illnesses is nutrition and dietary evaluation. Most
of our children have gut dysbiosis (an imbalance of good microflora with
an overgrowth of bad microflora - yeast and pathogenic bacteria). There
are many other areas of "broken biochemistry" that we can evaluate
including oxidative stress, inflammation and impaired detoxification.
